Zealcon maintains a working bench of technical resources who support in-house and outsourced software development efforts, and can draw upon this pool to carry out tasks for its customers. When suitable candidates are not available from within the pool, Zealcon engages the services of experienced professionals from outside.

Zealcon uses a three-phased qualification process to screen candidates. Recruiters first conduct telephone interviews to determine preliminary qualifications such as technical skills, communication skills, education, experience, eligibility, and availability. The next step is a rigorous technical interview and coding/configuration exercise based on client requirements. This allows technical managers to determine aptitude in specific technical areas, as well as other required attributes such as willingness to learn new technologies, ability to work overtime, willingness to travel, etc. where appropriate work samples are obtained from candidates and are carefully reviewed for adequacy and merit with respect to requirements.

If the candidate is deemed suitable after this, the recruiting agent performs reference checks before finally presenting the candidate to the client. Zealcon monitors the performance of the candidates on a continual basis to ensure that we are providing our clients with the highest levels of service in the staffing industry. A representative will contact the hiring manager periodically to obtain feedback on the candidate’s performance. This regular communication between the client manager and Zealcon promotes resolution of issues and allows us to recognize and re-hire our best performers.
